Responsibilities

  Maintenance and repairs of all cooking appliances refrigeration. HVAC and minor building repairs that include: carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and floor tile repairs.

·       Completes work orders as assigned. Gives priority items preference and advises Director of facilities of any delays.

·       Inspects building and equipment upon arrival at each location for any issues that need to be addressed.

·       Maintains inventory of parts, tools, equipment and other items.

·       Performs duties as prescribed in the Preventive Maintenance System.

·       Ensures that building and equipment are maintained in a safe manner, and that all repairs are made as specified by manufacturer.

·       Complies with company policies on safety at all times while performing work efficiently while protecting self, fellow workers and customers.

Below are some of the duties related to the varied areas of restaurant facilities. This list is not meant to be all-inclusive—additional responsibilities/duties will be assigned.

 

Appliance Repairs

·       Repair all gas and electrical appliances including: Grills, toasters, deep fryers, microwaves, proofers, food warmers, mixers, slicers, broilers, stoves, ovens, fryer filters, and interior grease interceptors.

·       Repair all refrigeration fixtures including: Walk in coolers, Freezer, standalone refrigerators

 

General Building Maintenance

·       Repair and replacement of doors, door locks and hinges.

·       Repair to floor tile.

·       Repairs to walls.

·       Installation of shelves.

·       Miscellaneous carpentry work.

·       Minor repairs to asphalt (temporary) and cement.

·       Addition and replacement of circuit breakers.

·       Replace switches and receptacles.

·       Replace motors.

·       Minor roof leak repairs.

·       Minor electrical repairs including: Light switches, receptacles, circuit breakers, and wiring.

 

Plumbing Repairs

·       Repair/replace faucets.

·       Repair urinal and commode flushometers

·       Repair/replace leaking water supply lines.

·       Replace sink drain lines (above floor).

·       Installation/replacement of hot water tank.

Other Duties as needed

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years repairing and servicing commercial food service equipment
  • Extensive knowledge or Plumbing, HVAC, Regridgeration, Applicance Repair, General Maintenance
  • Ability to travel to assigned locations across the state as needed
  • Will require drug screen and background check including driving record
